1. An entrepreneur signs up for an online course on how to build a $30k/mo (or $50k or $100k) or whatever agency (there’s so many of these programs out there now).

2. In the course they are taught all sorts of sales skills and get really good at selling lots of promises.

3. They are also taught to partner with big huge outsourcing farms in India, Phillipines and other places throughout the world for delivery.

So, what these “agencies” really are are simply middle men, sales guys that can talk a big talk, but have absolutely no systems for delivering upon their promises. So they end up in a “churn and burn” business model, where they are constantly selling and onboarding and simultaneously offboarding and losing clients quickly.

We now have over 15 years of experience growing businesses. Jason Spencer did not get his start from a guru marketing agency course. He worked hands-on in a physical office for very little pay as an apprentice for a digital marketing agency for a year before going out on his own. He learned the hard way (and the best way) through a lot of failure, mistakes, and successes along the way.

2. CONTRACTORS REVENUE GROWTH built a delivery system before we built a sales system. In fact we’ve spent most of the past 15 years honing in on the absolute best delivery system we could possibly develop because to us, client results, ROI and building a honest business with integrity matters more than lining our pockets for short term gain. We are actually just now getting around to developing our sales system. So while everyone else focuses on sales first, delivery and client results later, we’ve always focused on delivery and clients results first, and sales later.

3. In-House CMO Level Strategy. We do not “outsource”. We have handful of select individual partners that are in other countries, but these partners strictly execute on our carefully laid out project plans and processes. Our strategy team is 100% US-based. When you hire one of these other agencies we spoke about above, you’ll typically be assigned an account manager that has 0 to 5 years experience in digital marketing agency work, and their job is simply to be a middle man between you and the foreign outsourcers.
